The largest tailored support package for the OOSH Sector has been announced. This follows Network’s calls for Government to provide exactly this support, and our advocacy efforts at all levels of government. We want to extend our thanks not only to the Australian Government for announcing this measure, but also to the OOSH Services that have made this possible. Payments will be contingent on services:

Waive rent for OOSHs in Public Schools
Expand JobSaver reference period to a comparison date in Term 2
Prioritise OOSH workers for COVID-19 vaccines in select LGAs
Support package for OOSHs with concerns for their ongoing viability (NSW Department of Education Viability Grant)
Our advocacy is ongoing. We know that no two OOSH Services are the same, and we are working to ensure that EVERY OOSH is given support based on their needs.
