Network of Community Activities stands with the teachers of NSW, and supports the planned teachers’ strike on 7 December 2021.
Network members have asked us this week how the strike will impact OOSH Services. While OOSHs are able to open for extended hours for the duration of the strike, we encourage our members not to provide supervision for children during the school day on 7 December. OOSHs can maintain regular Before and/or After School Care hours on this day, and charge families for absences as usual.
Each organisation will need to make their own decision however Network encourages
