A Landmark Moment in Australian History

Today is National Apology Day and is a very important dates in Australia’s history, reminding the nation of its past wrongs and the need for ongoing efforts for reconciliation. The days provide an opportunity for the nation to come together, reflect, and work towards a more just and equitable future for Indigenous Australians. They also serve as a reminder that the journey towards reconciliation is ongoing and requires effort from all members of the community. As OOSH Educators we have a real opportunity to lead the way towards reconciliation creating a more inclusive communities that values and celebrates Indigenous culture, heritage, and traditions.

We can stand together to build a better future grounded in respect, equality, and mutual recognition.
