Fantastic news for all of our OOSHies regarding the Food Authority changes coming to the OOSH sector.
Our advocacy has worked! OOSH services now have until 8 December 2024 to meet Food Safety Requirements under Standard 3.2.2A of the Food Standards Code. This will take pressure off services and give you all an extra year to prepare for the changes.
The additional 12 months follows a legislative amendment that was published and clarifies how the Standard applies in NSW. You can find it here:
