This two-part series will assist OOSH Educators develop an approach to risk management that takes into account the benefits to children allowing for challenging play experiences, as well as the risks. Play is great for children’s well-being and development. When planning and providing play opportunities, the goal is not to eliminate risk, but to weigh up the risks and benefits.
‘No child will learn about risk if they are wrapped in cotton wool’.
Risk is all around us and this webinar is aimed at people who want to gain a better understanding of the risk assessment process.
