Are you a passionate and experienced educator ready to lead a supportive, community-focused OSHC service? The Kids’ Castle is seeking a Lead Educator (also acting as Responsible Person) to inspire a strong team and nurture curious, capable children in a creative, play-based environment.

Located on the beautiful grounds of Castle Cove Public School, The Kids’ Castle is a not-for-profit OSHC and Vacation Care service with a proud history of child-led learning. We value diversity, relationships, creativity, and community.

Our program supports children as capable and active learners by fostering a safe, stimulating environment that promotes play, creativity, and social development.

About the Role:

This is a leadership opportunity for a dedicated educator to guide a passionate team of professionals and shape the experience of children and families in our care.

Hours of work:

• School Term: 7:00–9:30am and 2:30–6:00pm, Monday to Friday
• School Holidays: 6–8 hours per day between 7:00am and 6:00pm

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the implementation of a high-quality, play-based program aligned with My Time, Our Place
• Providing hands-on support to educators and supervising junior staff and students
• Building strong relationships with children, families, and the school community
• Ensuring compliance with the NQF, child protection legislation, WHS, and service policies
• Maintaining a positive and collaborative team culture

About You:

You are an experienced, qualified educator with a passion for creating environments where children thrive. You are confident in a leadership role and committed to building a service that celebrates play, connection, and community.

You will have:

• Experience in OSHC or early childhood education, ideally in a leadership role
• A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and My Time, Our Place
• Excellent communication and team-building skills
• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma management training
• Working With Children Check and Child Protection training
