Are you a student, aspiring educator, or just someone who loves working with children? The Kids’ Castle is on the lookout for enthusiastic Junior Educators to join our friendly team and help make our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) program a fun, safe, and welcoming space for kids to thrive.

About Us:

We’re a not-for-profit OSHC and Vacation Care service located at Castle Cove Public School. Our play-based, child-led programs encourage creativity, confidence, and community connection. At The Kids’ Castle, every child is supported as a capable and active learner—and we have a lot of fun along the way!

About the Role:

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive, team-based environment. You’ll assist with supervision and engage with children during structured and unstructured play, activities, and mealtimes.

Working Hours:

• School Term: Flexible shifts between 7:00–9:30am and 2:30–6:00pm
• School Holidays: Shifts available between 7:00am and 6:00pm
• Minimum shift: 2 hours (face-to-face)

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively supervise children during indoor and outdoor play
• Participate in and lead games, creative activities, and group time
• Build positive relationships with children and fellow educators
• Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere
• Ensure safety and wellbeing of all children in your care

About You:

You’re positive, responsible, and love working with kids! Whether you’re starting your journey in education or looking for a casual role that makes a difference, this is the place for you.

You will need:

• A genuine interest in working with children
• Ability to follow direction and work well in a team
• Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Child Protection and First Aid training is a bonus—but not essential
