An exciting opportunity to join the permanent team at Samuel Gilbert Out of School Hours Care has become available.  We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated and passionate permanent part time Educator to commence as soon as possible.

About the service

• Located in the grounds of Samuel Gilbert Public School in Castle Hill
• Not for profit community based and purpose-built service operating for 32 years
• Proactive Parent Management Committee
• Medium to large service licensed for 145 children
• Part time position working before and after school care, school terms only
• 30 hours per week negotiable with opportunity for growth and flexibility with hours/shifts
• Offering above award wage and split shift allowance. Salary negotiable depending on experience

What you will need

• Certificate IV in School Age Education and Care, Diploma in Out of School Hours Care, Diploma in Children’s Services or Early Childhood trained is essential
• Previous experience working in Out of School Hours Care or early childhood industry 
• Solid understanding of My Time Our Place Framework and the National Quality Standards
• Hold a current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management (HTAID004) certificate 
• Valid Working with Children Check Clearance Number and National Police Certificate 
• Child Protection accredited qualifications is essential
• Full COVID Vaccination status
