OSHC Educators | Inner West Council
OSHC Educators
(Temporary Part-time and Permanent Part-time)
The Role:
Inner West Council is looking for an active team member to provide high quality care in the Outside School Hours Care Centre, within Council’s Children and Family Services. This includes developing strong and respectful relationships with children, supporting and partnering with families, implementing council procedure at all times and Contributing to the planning, implementation and documentation of a reflective middle childhood program that is based on and shows an active engagement with, the School Aged Care Framework (My Time Our Place) and outcomes.
We are offering a Temporary Part-time Role and a Permanent Part-time role for 16 hours each.
Essential Criteria:
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- Meet the requirements of the Working with Children Check / hold a current WWC Clearance or number.
- Over 18 years of age.
- Experience working in a similar role with school aged children attending school.
- Proven teamwork skills and ability to work respectfully as an effective member of diverse teams.
- Proven ability to interact respectfully and appropriately with children and families
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience working in a position of responsible person in an approved service
- Completed Statement of attainment CHCPRT001 or CCHILD401B
- Ability to speak second / community language.
- Flexible and open attitude.
Job Type: Permanent Part-time and Temporary Part-time
Salary: $23,653.32 – $26,491.53 + Superannuation (pro rata to 16 hours per week).
