About the role
Our OSHC is located on the beautiful grounds of St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School and is open from 7am to 9am in the mornings and from 2:45pm to 6pm Monday to Friday during term time and with the ability to work at other centres during school holidaysThis is a Permanent Full-time position.

Duties

  • Engaging, implementing, and evaluating the program to ensure it caters for the interests and needs of school age children and meets the requirements of the ‘My Time – Our Place’ Framework.
  • Understanding the requirements of being the Nominated Supervisor under the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
  • Ensuring compliance to the National Quality Standards and the Regulations.
  • Building ongoing positive relationships with the schools, families, and employees.
  • Where needed take on the role of Educational Leader within the service.
  • Working on administrative tasks and efficient day to day operation of the service.

Requirements

  • Working with Children Check.
  • Completion of CHCPRT025 “Identify & report children and young people at risk” certificate or willingness to obtain

Highly Desirable

  • Qualifications Diploma or Cert IV in OSHC.
  • Plus, experience in working in outside school hours care.
  • Skills and experience in team leadership.
  • Knowledge of regulations relevant to Outside School Hours Care and the National Quality Framework – My Time Our Place, as it applies to Outside School Hours Care.
  • Current First Aid certification/CPR certification/Asthma and Anaphylaxis.
