The Operations Coordinator position at Network is a newly established role designed to meet our dynamic business requirements. In this role, you’ll build and strengthen internal and external relationships to drive operational excellence and deliver quality services to our members. In this role, you’ll build and strengthen internal and external relationships to drive operational excellence and deliver quality services to our members.

As Operations Coordinator , you’ll plan, direct, and coordinate Network’s daily operations, focusing on improving efficiency and enhancing financial sustainability. You’ll oversee programs, manage operating budgets, and support cost-effective service delivery. This position offers flexibility in how it’s delivered, giving you the opportunity to truly make it your own.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Exploring New Funding Opportunities: Utilize various tools and resources to discover potential funding sources that align with Network’s goals and priorities, supporting financial sustainability.
  • Crafting Winning Proposals: Use your strong writing skills to transform complex information into clear, persuasive proposals to secure new funding and partnerships.
  • Nurturing Stakeholder Relationships: Build trust and strengthen long-term partnerships to increase funding opportunities and enhance Network’s reputation within the OOSH sector.
  • Building a Strong Administrative System: Oversee our membership software, ensuring that member records are accurate and up-to-date while tracking future opportunities to maximize potential income.
  • Strategic & Operational Leadership: Support the CEO in implementing the strategic plan, and foster a mission-driven, positive workplace culture.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage resources efficiently, oversee budgets, and produce financial reports in collaboration with the CEO and Treasurer.
  • Team Collaboration: Build a collaborative team environment, supporting effective member services and policy efforts.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Essential: Tertiary qualification in Human Services, Social Sciences, Business, or extensive relevant operational experience in a not-for-profit setting
  • Desirable: Experience in OOSH or membership-based organisations
  • Core Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills; proven track record in delivering operational excellence; and ability to direct and inspire Network’s team.
