OOSH Team Leader | BOOSH

Minimum Requirements:

• Certificate 3 in Childcare including Child Protection (or be prepared to complete)

• Current Working with Children Check

• First Aid Certificate including CPR (or to be completed within the first three months of employment).

• Food handling certificate (or be prepared to complete)

• Applicants should also be aware of and adhere to current NSW Public Health Orders for Child Care Services.

Experience/Criteria:

• A fun, professional, positive and reliable demeanor

• The ability to collaborate as an active member of the BOOSH team

• Be able to communicate effectively with children, families and the team

• Demonstrate an understanding of:

  • The National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place, and the regulations governing our industry

  • Child Protection and Mandatory Reporting

  • Workplace Health and Safety practices

Hours:

Our service operates from 6.30am to 8.30am and from 2.30pm to 6pm Monday to Friday during the school term. With some split shifts, flexible availability is required. We may offer up to 20 hours per week depending on availability. Hours may be negotiable for the right candidate.
