OOSH Service Coordinator 

To coordinate the overall operation of the relevant Out Of School Hours Program (Before School Care, After School  Care, Vacation Care)

About us  

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic OOSH Service Coordinator to join our Council operated services. Are you  interested in working with children aged 5 – 12 years in the OOSH sector and can bring your knowledge and teamwork skills to  work with our OOSH Educators? 

 

 

Qualifications & experience 

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or related field or relevant equivalent experience Experience within an Out of School Hours program
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector. 

Tasks & responsibilities 

  • Manage the relevant OOSH Program staff performance and development, work planning, staff motivation and team development. 
  • To evaluate the OOSH service and facilitate change as appropriate. 
  • To ensure that the Program is accessible to children with additional needs. 
  • To ensure a suitable and viable service is provided to meet the needs of the community, in an efficient and effective manner. 
  • Observe requirements of the WHS Legislation, relevant to the job and adhere to AlburyCity Policies  and Procedures regarding WHS. 

Hours 

Based on a 35-hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity’s RDO  guidelines. Actual hours to be worked 9.30-6pm. 

Service hours of operation: 

After School Care during school terms 

  • Monday to Friday, 1pm – 6pm. 

Before School Care during school terms 

  • Monday to Friday, 7am – 9am. 

Vacation Program during School Holidays (38 hours per week during NSW School  

Holiday periods) 

Rosters prepared to incorporate the following spread of days and hours: 

  • Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 5.30pm, staff on occasion may be asked to work split shifts.
