The stuff you’re looking for:

  • Currently looking after up to 115 children in the AM and 115 kids in the PM with a long wait-list (we must be good!)
  • Located at Holsworthy Primary School
  • Shifts may vary Mon-Fri but you must be available between 6:30am – 9:30am and 2pm – 6pm (some flexibility)
  • University students welcome

The Role

Some of your key duties will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Supervision of children, ensuring their well being at all times
  • Use your understanding of the different stages of child development to support the children
  • Maintain strong relationships with the children and families

Our ideal candidate will have

  • Demonstrated knowledge of/exposure to children’s services, ideally within an out of school hours environment.
  • Knowledge and ability to program and plan using MTOP.
  • Be passionate, not just about working with children, but about identifying areas to better engage and develop the children.
  • Open and creative mindset to the position; new and innovative ideas are encouraged!
  • Strong organisational skills and the willingness to jump into any task at hand.

To be successful you need

  • A current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence
  • Current NSW Working with Children Check and Child Protection Certification. (or willing to obtain)
