Flood Affected Services

Network is once again devastated to hear about services who are at risk of flooding at the start of Vac Care. For many communities this is the fourth flood they have seen. As the rain and storms continue  across NSW please know the Network team is here to support services and help you navigate  situations like this. Please remember to:

  • Let the relevant authorities know that you are operating especially if on a school site (SES for example)
  • Tune into your local radio for alerts
  • Think about any excursions you may have planned and if you can go ahead safely
  • Follow your action plan for your situation and your  emergency and evacuation procedures

The NSW Government and Australian Government will be sending out updates depending on how things evolve. Obviously, this is an extreme weather pattern and is affecting  different areas across NSW however stay alert wherever you are!

Stay safe and dry!
