Exciting Update!

The Productivity Commission of the Australian Government has just released its final report on Early Childhood Education and Care. The report can be accessed here:
.

Network is particularly intrigued by the following point, in the report.
“State governments are encouraged to support the availability of outside school hours care for children aged 5–12 in public schools, wherever there is a consistent demand. Additionally, any barriers to providing wrap-around care in dedicated preschools should be eliminated to enhance the ECEC options for working families.”

We all know that families now anticipate that high-quality Out of School Hours (OOSH) care will be a standard offering when enrolling their children in public schools.
