Director / Associate Director for Non-Profit OSHC
Director / Associate Director for Non-Profit OSHC
Location: Paddington, NSW
Salary: $70 – 90,000 per year (with annual increases for 3 years)
Start Date: May 1 2025
About Us
Cottage OSHC is a vibrant, community-focused out-of-school-hours care service dedicated to providing a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for children. We are now seeking a passionate and experienced Director / Associate Director to lead our team and help shape the future of our service.
About the Role
As the Director/Associate Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and creating an enriching program for children. You will work closely with families, educators, and the Cottage Committee to maintain high-quality care and a welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the OSHC service, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
- Develop and implement engaging programs aligned with the National Quality Framework.
- Oversee staff recruitment, training, and professional development.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Foster strong relationships with families, school staff, and the wider community.
- Manage budgets, bookings, and enrolments efficiently.
About You
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Passion for creating a positive, child-centered environment.
- Diploma or higher in Early Childhood, Education, or related field (preferred).
- Experience in OSHC or a leadership role in a childcare setting (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Standards and child protection policies (preferred).
