As CEO, Pauline leads the Network team to ensure Network supports and delivers successful membership services to our valued members. Network has a long history in collaborating with our members to influence policy through our advocacy, enhance practice with information, resources and professional learning and to develop key partnerships. With more than three decades of experience working in the middle childhood sector and the last 20 years in senior management, this experience demonstrates Pauline’s knowledge on the range of issues facing our sector and the needs of our membership.
Pauline joined Network in 1993, bringing extensive experience of play movement in the UK, Local Government and NFP sector. Pauline is a passionate advocate for children’s time out of school and the Out of School movement which has rapidly expanded in recent years. She was drawn to the role at Network as she is passionate about children & Educators who work with them. She believes children’s time out of school should be valued and is a critical time in childhood. Children deserve access to high quality care to achieve their true potential.
She has been delegate & board member for a number of national and international organisations both in Australia & UK. She is currently a board member for the International Journal of Playwork Practice.
Pauline is a strong and passionate advocate for children’s rights. She has extensive knowledge in community sector management, HR, content writing and is a highly skilled facilitator. Her unique style of working with all levels of government and politicians has resulted in positive change and outcomes for our sector. .
She holds tertiary qualifications in Social Ecology, Community Sector Management, Workplace Assessment & Training, School Age Education & Care, Playwork.
When not working Pauline is mostly likely to be found out in nature, gardening, bush walking or going to the beach. She loves seeing live music, going to festivals and travelling the world. She enjoys eating out as well as entertaining family and friends.
