Bruce Hurst, University of Melbourne. Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Master of Education (M.Ed.)(Research) Bruce will present the findings from his recent research that suggests age is an important aspect of older children’s identities. It proposes that there is status attached to being older, which has implications for the ways that older children engage with peers, Educators and activities. This workshop doesn’t provide easy answers but does support new possibilities for understanding the complexities of OOSH for older children.
