You can list your OOSH centre positions vacant on the Network website plus we will promote on Facebook too.

  • The cost is $99 inc GST for members
  • $175 plus GST for non-members

The advertisement will be listed until the applications closing date for the position or when advised by advertiser.

Send your advertisements to the Network email including your membership number and a closing application date on your job advertisement (4 weeks maximum) and Network will send through an invoice for payment. Payment is required prior to the advertisement being uploaded to our website.

  • Successful applicant’s remuneration will reflect industry standards under the Children’s Services Award 2010 being paid 10% above the award. Your qualifications and experience will also be considered.
  • Working With Children Check Clearance is mandatory for this position

ASSISTANT CO-ORDINATOR

Full Time Position – Assistant Coordinator
Permanent – 38 hours per week, block or split shifts

We currently have an exciting vacancy for an Assistant Coordinator – Permanent
Position located at Centipede working with children aged 5 years – 12 years.

Centipede is a not for profit Outside School Hours Care service for children located
in Glebe Public School.

Centipede is a child centred, community focused child care service that cares for a
diverse group of children in a vibrant local community. We are open to children and
families regardless of their circumstances and our service reflects the diversity of the
community, with a high number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, at
risk children and children from a variety of different cultural backgrounds and life
experiences attending the service.

The successful applicants must be experienced in working within a similar role or
with children of this age group.

Essential Criteria:

• A Degree or Diploma in Children’s Services, Education or related discipline
• Experience working with children aged 5 years – 12 years
• The ability to work as part of a team
• Working knowledge of My Time Our Place, the National Quality Framework and the
National Quality Standards
• Strong communication & programming skills
• Current first aid, asthma & anaphylaxis certificate.
• Current Working with Children Check

Desirable Criteria:
