Education and Care Services is responsible for the delivery of professional, high quality childcare services and educational programs in the Campbelltown local government area. We provide care to children aged 0-12 years and operate according to Early Childhood Education and Care National Regulations and the National Quality Standards and Framework.

About the role:

We are currently seeking a permanent part time OSHC Senior Educator (Middle Childhood Senior Assistant) to join our team. You will plan, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs for children aged 5-12 years, within our Outside School Hours Care Services as well as being a part of creating a positive and interactive environment, which is safe, secure and hygienic for the children in our care.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key qualifications, training skills and attributes:

  • Diploma in Outside School Hours Care or equivalent qualification that is recognised by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA). Applicants actively working towards any Early Childhood qualification, may be considered.
  • Current First Aid Certificate and approved asthma and anaphylaxis training.
  • Current class LR drivers licence (desirable).
  • A cleared Working with Children Check.
  • Knowledge of Outside School Hours Care National Quality Framework, National Standards and legislative requirements.
  • Experience in an education and care services environment.
  • Sound knowledge of child development 5-12 years.
  • Minimum 18 years of age (legislative requirement).
  • Time management skills and ability to organise work effectively.
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service and to working cooperatively as a team member.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to living our values of respect, integrity, trust, teamwork and optimism.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination or Medical Contraindication Certificate upon commencement.
