PRODA – PROVIDER DIGITAL ACCESS

What is PRODA?

PRODA is a system used to allow individuals (in the case of OOSH – authorised organisation representative) to access different government services including CCSS and other services accessible via PRODA include the NDIS. Once registered, your PRODA account doesn’t expire and can be used to access multiple services from any location. Authorised organisation representatives will set up an individual account and your login details should not be shared with others. The Approved Provider representatives are also required to set up a PRODA account…(These are usually the representatives from the Approved provider listed with ECECD).

What details are needed to set up your PRODA account?

  • First Name
  • Additional Names (as per your identity documentation)
  • Surname
  • Gender
  • Date of Birth

You’ll create your own individual password & username, which needs to be kept safe, and to create 3 security questions.

You will also require an email address, and will need access to that email to verify your account.

This is all clearly laid out in the sign-up process.

To verify your identity, you’ll need to provide 3 government issued ID documents, e.g.your Medicare card, Australian drivers licence and your passport (with visa if not Australia).

Once you have a PRODA account you can access it:

https://www.humanservices.gov.au/ and type PRODA into the search bar. (You will need your username & password)

The provider is also required to collect the following documentation from anyone in Management & Control…(These are usually the representatives from the Approved provider listed with ECECD)

  • National police check,
  • WWCC
  • National Personal Insolvency Index check and a current and historical personal name extract search that must be provided in a written record. You can obtain this from afsa.gov.auand it cost $15.00
