Notifying the Regulatory Authority – Approved Provider

This page is provided to simplify notifying the Regulatory Authority of any appointment or removal of a person with management control of a service

Step 1 – Download the appropriate form

Note:

Question 5a – Volunteer parent committee members are not required to have a working with children check until 2017. Attach a letter using your Centre Letterhead to state that you are a volunteer.

Note: A person in management and control of a parent run committee can include the executive members. This can be the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer or other members if the organisation decides. You only need to notify ECECD of newly elected members who have management and control or members with management and control who have left the committee.

Step 2 – Complete the form you downloaded and then scan back into your computer or device

 

Step 3 – Submit notification to ECECD via National Quality Agenda IT System (NQA ITS)

Important Information

Obligations under the National Law
An approved provider must notify the Regulatory Authority of

National Law Section 173(1)(a) Notice of any appointment or removal of a person with management control of a service within 14 days.
