Cancellation and Refund Policy

As Membership fees are only accepted once a membership application has been approved by the Network of Community Activities Board, Network of Community Activities does not refund membership fees once paid. Unsuccessful applications do not incur a fee. Membership fees can not transferred to a new Approved Provider if a service/organisation is taken over or sold.

Network has reviewed its membership cost to ensure greater equity across all types of services. Historically we have always charged a per service membership fee.

As the sector has expanded and there is greater demand for OOSH, there has developed a growing disparity between the level of payments affordable for services. An example of this can be a small provider in a regional area that has 4 services all with approved places of less than 30. This provider would pay 4 memberships in contrast to a large city provider with 180 places who would pay just one membership.

To address this inequity, in 2019 membership fees are based on a provider’s number of approved places rather than number of services.Whilst this will result in increases for some services it will also result in decreases for others. Feedback from some large stand alone services have encouraged us to make this change in policy as well as the feedback from our small multi-service providers.

Network Membership rates in 2019 are as follows:

0-100 places: $380 per year

101-200 places: $570 per year

201-300 places: $760 per year

301- 400 places: $950 per year

401- 500 places: $1140 per year

over 501 places: base of $1140 plus $2.20 per place
