EDUCATOR- Permanent/ Part Time or Casual – ST MARYS CONCORD OUT OF SCHOOL HOURS CARE INC

We are seeking a highly motivated educator, who has a positive attitude and possesses a high level of  enthusiasm for working with children aged 5-12 year old. Experience is preferred but not necessary as we  provide bucket loads of support and training. 

St Mary’s Concord Out of School Hours Care is an accredited not for profit Community-based service providing  before and after school care and vacation care. 

Requirements: 

• Current Working With Children Check 
• Experience preferred working with 5-12years. 
• Current HLTAID004 First Aid, VU21658 Asthma Management, VU21800 Anaphylaxis • Preferred CHCPRT001 Accredited Child Protection Certificate 
• Preferred Sound knowledge of and ability to meet National Quality Framework, Regulations and  National Quality Standards 
• Preferred Sound knowledge and ability to implement the outcomes for ‘My Time Our Place School  Age Framework 
• Ability to take directions and work as part of a small team 
• Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with the management committee, parents, and  school. 
• Commitment to providing high quality care. 
• Team player who is motivated, displays initiative, enthusiasm, and a professional manner. Uniforms  are provided. 

Operating Hours: 

• Before School Care: 7am to 9am 
• After School Care: 3pm to 6pm 
• Vacation Care & School Development Days: 7am to 6pm 

Conditions of Employment: 

• Successful applicant’s remuneration will reflect industry standards under the Children’s Services  Award 2010, after a probationary period being paid 10% above the award. Your qualifications and  experience will also be considered. 
• Working With Children Check Clearance is mandatory for this position 
• Please note being fully vaccinated for Covid-19 is a requirement prior to commencement of  employment with SMOOSH, with the exception of a medical contraindication certificate provided.
