We are a not for profit, community owned, non-government organisation which provides high quality care and education for children, national and state wide inclusion services as part of a National Consortia and operate many community based services to children and families. These include post-natal depression groups, transition to school and supported playgroups.

What you will do
The OSHC Education and Practice Lead will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with OSHC educational leaders by providing support and advice on educational and pedagogical practices and the National Quality Framework. Reporting to the Pedagogical Thinker in Residence, the role will conduct regular service visits across Big Fat Smile’s 15 OSHC services in the Illawarra and Goulburn areas, to observe, mentor and coach educators on best practices in OSHC. Furthermore, the role will be responsible for liaising with local primary schools and forming effective partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders.
