Health Promotion Resource for OOSH centres across NSW

The ‘Eat Smart Play Smart Manual’ has recently been updated! This resource was developed by the Heart Foundation NSW Division and updated with support from the NSW Office of Preventive Health & Network of Community Activities

The Eat Smart Play Smart manual is designed to help Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) centres to provide healthy food and physical activity opportunities for their children each day, including practical resources for extra inspiration!

Your Local Health District Health Promotion team are keen to share the ‘Eat Smart Play Smart Manual’ and will be in contact with your centre over the coming months.

To view the manual online, go to: https://www.healthykids.nsw.gov.au/teachers-childcare/guidelines-for-physical-activity-and-nutrition-in-outside-of-school-hours-care-centres
