Are you a skilled professional in the Education and Care sector looking to enhance your leadership abilities, and grow a successful OOSH service? If this resonates with you, we have an exceptional opportunity available! Joining West Pymble OOSH as Centre Director places you at the core of our management team, where you will play a crucial role in nurturing and empowering Educators within our well-established centre. You will develop meaningful connections with children, families, and our wonderful school community while recognising the significant impact of your position on their lives.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Manage daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Lead our specialised programme designed in partnership with Educators and our Ed Leader
  • Cultivate and support a proficient team of Educators by sharing expertise and fostering a culture of continuous improvement through reflective practices
  • Enhance efficiency by simplifying and improving systems and processes
  • Collaborate with the Parent Management and centre team to strategise for the future of the centre by maintaining and growing enrolments and establishing a much-needed vacation care program

You’ll need:

Selection Criteria 

  • Diploma or relevant experience (minimum 3 years in a Leadership role) (or working towards)
  • Experience with leading an OOSH or similar service type organisation
  • Leading an engaging and customised program for our children
  • A growth mindset and the willingness to learn
  • Effective communication capabilities and the capacity to foster relationships
  • A comprehensive grasp of the legal and ethical frameworks within the Education and Care sector
  • Demonstrated proficiency in overseeing various administrative responsibilities.
  • WWCC, First Aid and Identify and Respond to Children at Risk unit of competency
