The introduction of the new childcare package requires services.
- Services will no longer be required to operate for a certain number of weeks. OOSH services will only now have to operate for a minimum of 7 weeks per year.
- This gives services flexibility over the numbers of days to open Vac Care for, especially in rural and small services where sometimes there is.
