Gemma Quinn comes to Network with over 12 years’ experience in the OOSH sector. Her has first hand-knowledge of the OOSH Sector as both a Coordinator of a Not-For-Profit OOSH service is combined with her unique background and training to provide unparalleled support for the OOSH Sector. Gemma has Bachelors Degrees in Law and Arts (Politics and Philosophy) from Macquarie University, and an extensive record as an advocate for students of all ages.
Gemma has served as a member of the Macquarie University Council and as a company director, and aims to provide a high standard of governance expertise to OOSH services of all types and sizes.
Gemma has a passion for Education and believes that Out of School Hours Care Services provide a unique and invaluable opportunity for children of primary-school age. Her belief that learning is something done far beyond the classroom drives Gemma’s support of OOSH services.
Gemma is inspired by the hands-on work that the OOSH Sector does with children and families. She aims to guide and resource OOSH Providers and Educators with regard to all aspects of service provision, helping them to thrive under the National Quality Framework and meet the needs of their communities at the highest possible standard.
